Pattaya’s Big C mall, arresting three kiosk vendors for allegedly
selling counterfeit brand-name clothing.
Korn Thanormsupthawee, 52; Sunti Phuangsri, 30; and
Chutathip Somchai, 34, were all charged with trademark violation and
selling counterfeit goods following the Aug. 15 crackdown.
Police seized 54 American Eagle Outfitters-branded
clothing from Korn’s first-floor kiosk, 33 faux American Eagle shirts
and 32 copy Calvin Klein shorts from Sunti’s second-floor booth and 20
Drunkmonkey, G-Star, Element and EKGO knockoffs from Chutathip’s stand.
