The stars aligned for area residents and tourists, and
underprivileged rural children, when Central Center Pattaya and the
Amari Orchid Resort & Tower opened the Fortune Teller Festival in North
Pattaya.
Deputy Mayor Ronakit Ekasingh, Central Center Pattaya General Manager
Saiyan Nakboon and Amari General Manager Brendan Daly hosted the Oct. 4
fair featuring popular soothsayer Pornsouk Pengmanee, president of the
Institute of Multi-Approach in Astrology.
In all, 6 prominent fortune tellers were on hand, reading palms,
choosing lucky numbers, reading tarot cards and analyzing star charts
for believers.
Profits from the 500 baht service fee went to help children in remote
areas and Chonburi’s schools.
On the roster were Pornsouk Pengmanee for palm reading, Eak Ariyatach
for tarot cards, Wisan Sanguandeekul to read horoscopes, Wilawan
Hawiboonwat to read stars and leaves, Phutaporn Wiwassamrankul of the
Japanese Astrology Institute and Pawarin Sithipridakul, a traditional
arts expert.
