Former Prime Minister Chuan Leekpai opened the Democrat
Party Coordination Center, also known as campaign headquarters, in Chonburi.
Chuan, the Democrats’ chief advisor, hosted a Buddhist
ceremony to bless the new center in Panat Nikom and cut the ribbon with
Chonburi Democrat MP Pramuan Empia and Maj. Gen. Tha-ngai Pransattrupai,
commander of the Region 2 police.
The event, capped by unveiling of the new center’s sign, was well
attended with local police providing much-needed traffic management.
