A Banglamung man has been arrested for allegedly molesting his 15-year-old daughter.
Parayad Santha, 46, was taken into custody Nov. 1 after going to Pattaya Police Station to report that his daughter had run away Oct. 30. Upon investigation, officers discovered the girl and relatives had contacted the Paveena Foundation for Children and Women, which had filed the molestation complaint.
Parayad denied the charges. However, Paveena officials said they had both evidence and testimony from relatives that the suspect had raped his teenage daughter four times in the past month. Unable to stand the abuse, she ran from home, taking refuge with a relative.
