Police searching for identity, ask public for help

A young boy was believed murdered when his partially
decomposed body was found floating in the ocean in front the Ambassador City
Jomtien Hotel Oct. 16.
Police believe the unidentified boy had been dead for at
least 7 days. The boy was dressed in a yellow t-shirt and red cartoon JJ
pants, and had a Mother Guan Yin medallion around his neck. Police believe
the boy might have been Caucasian, but are unsure of his nationality.
Police have contacted the Krajok Gnao Foundation, the
Missing Persons Center, and Phen Khang Khieng Station, but thus far there
have been no missing persons reported fitting this description.
At press time, no one has come forward to claim the body.
As police continue to search for the boy’s identity, they
ask that anyone reading this who might recognize the description and who
knows of a missing boy about 7 years old, to please contact them
immediately.
They gave no contact details, but any police station
should be able to assist.
Pol. Capt. Sirisak Aransri, Investigating Inspector of
Najomtien Police Station in Sattahip, was the attending officer.
The young victim had a gaping hole in the back of his
skull, three stab wounds to the abdomen, and severely damaged legs.
The body was sent to Nitivej Forensic Institute at the
Police Hospital in Bangkok for autopsy.
