Lions Nongprue donates water filter to Map Yai Lia residents

The Lions Club of Pattaya-Nongprue donated a 40,000 baht water filter to Map Yai Lia residents to provide clean water and save money on bottled water.
Lions President Badinthat Hirintharanukul presented the filters to Nongprue Mayor Mai Chaiyanit June 10 at the sub-district council’s monthly meeting.
Badinthat said Map Yai Lia is the first area community to receive a filter under the club’s clean-water project.
In other business, Mai said 60 residents and officials will visit Cambodia’s Angkor Wat temple in September. He also presented a good citizen certificate to Thaweesak Phanwilai, 43, a pork seller who found and returned 200,000 baht.
