Tourism Authority of Thailand and Centara Hotels & Resorts recently hosted a Dubai Media FAM Trip for journalists based in the middle eastern country. They were well looked after during their stay by Paulo De Matos (centre) Executive Assistant Manager of Rooms for Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya. Students and teachers from Waltham Forest College in the United Kingdom made their second trip to Thailand to spend one week volunteering at the Father Ray Foundation recently. During their time in Pattaya they received training in disability and visual awareness in readiness for the time they would spend with the blind students. The UK students also took the children of the Father Ray Foundation to the beach, the zoo and while the children were at school they planted vegetables on the farm.


Royal Cliff Hotels Group’s Managing Director Panga Vathanakul (5th right) together with Executive Director Vitanart Vathanakul (4th right) welcomed M&I Forum Asia’s Managing Director Alastair Lennox and various delegates to their “M&I Pan Asia Forum 2012” meeting at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group recently. The five-day event comprised of a welcome cocktail party hosted by the hotel, a series of 20-minute pre-scheduled one-on-one appointments between top MICE suppliers and key meeting and incentive buyers from the Asia-Pacific Region.

Promotion & Party Manager for Pullman Pattaya Hotel G Cecilia Pitre (right) together with Guest Chef Lilian Barbosa (left) organized a full day of recreational activities and lunch for children at the Pattaya Orphanage recently. This action was implemented after a bazar event was organized at Pullman Pattaya Hotel G to raise funds for children by selling various donated items.


Holiday Inn Pattaya’s parking lot was turned into a flea market recently, where staff and members of the community could bring their 2nd hand clothing and a variety of goods to sell to each other. Proceeds from the rent of space and profits will be donated into charity fund for underprivileged people in the community. The plan is to hold these charity markets on a monthly basis.
