Pattaya public servants and teachers were given
lessons in ethics and morality as officials try to improve the
reputation of the city workers.
About 140 people attended an April 20 seminar
entitled “Work Productively, Satisfy Citizens” at Pattaya City Hall. Air
Vice Marshal Bunlert Julakiet, MD, former director of HM Bhumibol
Adulyadej Hospital, related his long experience in dealing with
public-sector workers.
“Developing morality and ethics in city personnel is
important for good governance of the city,” said Mayor Itthiphol
Kunplome.
“I am happy to have attended the lecture and I feel
honored that city hall has placed importance on harmony among civic
employees and citizens.”
Training continued April 26 for about 50 city workers
with a three-day meditation and concentration workshop at Khao Phra Khru
Temple in Sriracha.
