Udon Thani representatives visited Chonburi as part of an
Eastern Seaboard junket to study tourism-promotion.

Wattana Changraksa, 1st Marine Sgt. Vichan Kraiwichet, a radio reporter, and
other bureaucrats called on Gov. Khomsan Ekachai April 23 to obtain advice
and honor him with a belated Songkran water-sprinkling ceremony.
The Issan city has seen a decline in the number of
tourists over the past several years and the tour of Chonburi, Rayong, Trat
and Chantaburi was aimed at encouraging northeast businesses to expand their
tourism market and advertise tourism spots, merchandise and services.
