A ladyboy got a bruise makeup couldn’t hide when a
British man he allegedly pick pocketed fought back.
Narong Wongsajan, 18, was arrested Oct. 22 after he and
two cross-dressing cohorts allegedly stole 10,000 baht from the Brit’s
pocket.
The 42-year-old Brit told police he was accosted by the
ladyboys on Beach Road near Soi 10 and, during a provocative proposition,
didn’t realize one of the boys in dresses had cleaned out his wad of cash.
The victim said he tried to recover the money, but got
into a fight with the three men in heels. Two fled, but Narong was detained
long enough for police to arrive.
The suspect denied the charges, but was locked up pending
further investigation.
