More than 100 people who missed August’s Pattaya Hospital outreach program
finally were given their free checkups when doctors returned to city hall for
another round of service.
Organized by the city Public Health Department, the Nov. 6 event saw doctors
give blood pressure checks, eye exams, tests for liver function, cholesterol,
gout and cancer. Patients were senior citizens who missed the Aug. 15-31
“Pattaya Maintains Good Health” program.
Poonsook Klindee, 54, said she was really disappointed when she found out she
missed the two-week program, which treated more than 4,900 people. So when she
found out another day of testing would be offered, she got there early.
