Doorman slashed outside Walking Street go-go bar

A Walking Street doorman was seriously injured after being slashed in the stomach by two Thai men.
Kittirai Oikaem, 19, was in serious condition at Pattaya Memorial Hospital after the Aug. 19 attack outside the Angelwitch go-go bar on Walking Street’s Soi 15.
Atichart Mu-ubol, 18, and Nikhom Wat, 20, were arrested shortly after the attack and found in possession of a bloody 24cm knife. Both were charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
Witness Surawit Asipong, 19, said he and his co-worker were trying to entice customers into the bar when the two suspects approached Kittitrai and - without saying a word - slashed him in the gut.
Police are waiting for Kittirai to recover enough to be interviewed.
