About 80 Sattahip-area bureaucrats and restaurateurs were briefed on
food-safety laws at a sanitation knowledge and consumer-protection
seminar in Khet Udomsak.
Mayor Pairoj Malakul Na Ayuthaya presided over the Feb. 28 workshop that
saw Deputy Permanent Secretary Krittin Meelap explain the need for
greater vigilance in food sanitation as more people eat from restaurants
and street carts.
The seminar was aimed at helping people learn how to prepare and buy
food that adheres to sanitation rules. Lecturers from Sattahip Km. 10
Hospital spoke on standards, regulations and the health risks of not
following the rules.
