Police raid South Pattaya ‘swingers party’

advertising the sex parties.

A Dutchman and his Thai girlfriend were arrested for allegedly
organizing a paid “swingers party” advertised on the Internet at a South
Pattaya resort.
Anthony Verloop, 61, and Kanika Kankhay, 42, were taken into custody Jan. 27
when police raided the Ramakiat Resort off Soi 15 after an undercover
operative attended the party and informed on happenings to police. Guests,
both half-naked Thai and foreigners wrapped in towels, tried to escape.
Police recovered 25 condoms, sex toys and advertisements.
Police said Kanika admitted to launching the website advertising the sex
parties and charging guests 2,000 baht each to attend the swimming pool
parties every Saturday.
Both suspects were slapped with prostitution and pandering charges. They
face up to four years in prison and fines of up to 40,000 baht.
