Streetwalker drugs,
robs German tourist
Police are trying to identify
this woman, seen here in hotel security camera footage, suspected of
drugging and robbing and older German man.

An elderly German man was drugged and robbed of about 500,000 baht
in cash by a woman he picked up on Soi Buakaow.
Harmut Lothar Dietrich Herrmann, 66, was found naked and dazed, lying on his
bed in his hotel room near the former X-Zyte disco Oct. 28. His room had
been ransacked and police recovered a half-drank beverage on the table.
Hotel clerk Vilaiwan Chaiyapruek said Herrmann had gone out that morning and
returned with a Thai woman in her 30s, who left around 3 p.m. No thought was
given to Herrmann until a German friend came to visit and found the victim
semi-unconscious.
Herrmann told police he’d met the streetwalker while going to the ATM
machine on Soi Buakaow and that, after their dalliance, she’d prepared
coffee for them. He soon after felt dizzy and passed out. He awoke to find
100,000 baht and 12,000 euros missing from his room safe.
Police are trying to identify the suspect from hotel security camera
footage.
