On Walking Street, business owners decorated with ghost figures, dark curtains, haunted posters and employees in full makeup. The more elaborate shops created that spooky feeling with music and lights, plus the occasional ghoul popping out of a dark corner.

Look out young woman, zombies are loose on Walking Street!

Revelers filled the street in costumes of their own, giving the city a festive feeling that permeated the walls of luxury resorts and shopping malls.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in the Royal Garden Plaza threw a unique Halloween party filled with monsters from its Haunted Adventure attraction. The amusement center ran a costume contest for guests with the prize-winning ghouls receiving 50,000 baht in Royal Garden gift certificates.
Khomsanthepithak Chumnannak took the grand prize for his getup as a dead man killed by shards of mirrors. Wattana Kanchanodilok took second prize as a beauty contestant covered in bruises and injuries while Dangwang Srisa-ad took third place and Belgian Fabian Calvetti getting the consolation prize.
Down the road, the Hard Rock Cafe threw its own Halloween bash with costume contests and musical monsters.
The Beach Road pub was decorated as a haunted house with creatures young and old shuffling through its halls. Atmospheric rock subbed for spooky tunes and the evening reached its climax with a performance by the Hard Rock’s employees dressed up in full makeup as rock band Kiss.
If you see this creature, run for your life!

In Naklua, the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort offered its own Halloween happening at its Zulu Bar.
The “Funky Halloween” party saw the upscale hotel decorated with skulls, coffins and eyeballs with ghosts and goblins serving food and drinks.
The hotel put on a “funky, funny ghost” show, sexy dances by female monsters and a bartender drink-mixing performance.
Ten guests capped the evening, participating in a costume show. The winning costume was a bride who suffered a gory accident on the way down the aisle. The bloodied bride won a two-day pass at Centara’s on-site spa.

Even ghosts try to dance Gangnam Style at Ripley’s Believe it or Not!

Staff at the Hard Rock certainly outdo themselves on Halloween.
