The Royal Thai Navy swiftly responded to reports of discolored seawater and accumulated seaweed on Najomtien Beach near Pattaya.
Preliminary findings revealed that the discoloration was caused by monsoon-driven seaweed washed ashore, with no foul odour detected.
Teaming up with the municipality, naval volunteers and local officials cleaned up the algae, gradually restoring the beach to its pristine condition.
