Pattaya Music Festival a paradise for Thai street food lovers

You can follow the good smells of a variety of Thai food catered by local cooks at over 50 stalls that are set up on Pattaya Central Beach footpath to get to the festive area on both evenings of Friday and Saturday (Aug 19-20).

Pattaya City Mayor, Poramet Ngampichet and his working team inspected the food stalls for their cleanliness, and obviously the tastes, and also the overall safety and traffic flow in the festive area.Elected in May and started working in June this year, Poramet promised people of Pattaya a better business atmosphere and a better future. As a local businessman himself, he tried every possible way to enticemore short-term tourists to visit the city. Poramet said the music festival month is a good kick-start to get money rolling, young people to show their cooking and drinks mixing talents.



This year Pattaya City Hall organized the music festival on 4 weekends throughout August. Shows start from 5 p.m. with free entry.Traffic is closed off until midnight.The last episode is next weekend (Aug 26-27).

The mayor obviously enjoyed checking the tastes of food his team bought from different stalls on the beach.


The overall safety and traffic flow in the festive area is compulsory.
