Three people died when a Russian motorcyclist ran into a South Korean pedestrian in Pattaya.

Aleksander Xakhrov, 22, and Yong-seok Choi, 20, were pronounced dead at the scene of the Jan. 9 accident on the intersection of Thappraya Soi 7. Xakhrov’s unidentified Thai girlfriend died later at Pattaya Memorial Hospital.

Witnesses said the Russian was speeding on his large Kawasaki motorcycle toward Jomtien Beach and ran over Yong-seok as he was crossing the street.

Police were trying to find anyone who could identify the Thai woman in her early 20s.
