Cars and motorcycles from 27 manufacturers revved
up Central Festival Pattaya Beach for 2012 Pattaya Motor Show.
Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome and Mall General Manager
Saran Tantichamnan opened the mall’s third-annual show July 28-Aug.
5, which covered two floors of the beachfront mall.
The exhibition saw the debut of the 3.7 million
baht Mitsuoka New View and 19 million baht Bentley Continental GT.
It also showcased the hand-made Spyker C8 Double 12 sports car.
The region’s top automotive manufacturers -
including Mercedes Benz, BMW, Lexus, Lotus, Lamborghini, Porche,
Volvo, Nissan, Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet , Kawasaki, Vespa, Yamaha,
and Honda - were on hand to show off and sell their latest models.
Safety was a big part of the exhibition, with
seminars on traffic laws and opportunities for drivers to renew
their licenses.
While many male attendees were disappointed the
cars stood alone, and not shown off by motor show “pretties,” a
ground-floor stage did offer up sexy celebrities, such as Luktan
Arisa Will and music from Girly Berry, Tai Chatdaporn, Jensuda
Panto, The Star and N’ Namtan.
