Members of the British Veterans Club Pattaya (Bob Myers, Bert Elson and Bob Myers Jnr), seen here with the official collection box for Remembrance Sunday, received from the British Embassy Bangkok. The 2 Bobs (father and son) were last seen heading down Soi 6 collecting money for the box and liquid refreshments for themselves. The club meets every Sunday afternoon at Tropical Bert’s.


The Pattaya Marriot Resort & Spa donated 160,000 baht to the Phra Prabat Namphu Temple hospice, known throughout Thailand for its work with HIV/AIDS patients. Resident Manager Lars Kerfin is shown here with Abbot Phra Alongkot Tikkhapanyo and the Marriott’s Spirit to Serve team.

Prayuth Thamdhum, general manager of the Montien Hotel, Pattaya welcomes a group of travel agents from Ukraine in cooperation with PTS (Thailand) Co., Ltd when they had a site educational and hotel inspection trip to Pattaya.


The A-One Royal Cruise Hotel in Pattaya recently held a Sport’s Day, presided over by MD Somkiet Ratanaopath and attended by hotel employees from different departments. The sports included a tug-of-war, table tennis, takraw, an eating competition, soccer, and beach soccer. In the evening a “Colorful Night Party” was held, with a splendid show put on by the employees.

The event was supported by Pattaya City, Dusit Resort, Pattaya and Aisawan Resort & Spa.
