SHAKEN NOT STIRRED
by A. Rakchart
4 German businessmen attacked by outlaw Austrian. An
editor/publisher of a local German newspaper, a German insurance agent, a
German restaurant owner, and finally a German news agent in Pattaya have all
been attacked by an infamous Austrian. Inside sources have revealed that the
Austrian, who is allegedly on the run from Thai authorities, “carries a gun”
and has gathered 4 - 5 “hit men” who he takes along with him on his
nighttime “visits” to local businessmen. After receiving a sentence of two
years probation from Chonburi court for his previous rough man tactics with
the press, he has violated his probation and is now wanted by Immigration.
Warning, don’t trust Mr. Rat. A German cowboy, Mr. Rat, who is supposed to
be very influential among the cops, seems to be getting out of line. The
man, who pretends to offer help to farang’s in trouble at the police
station, has begun to extort his clients from 500 Baht up to 500,000 baht,
depending on the client. Mr. Rat is currently trying to extort a sum of
50,000 Baht from an Austrian restaurant owner in Jomtien, but the Austrian
has decided to fight back. He recently came into the offices of Pattaya Mail
to complain. Since it is one of our duties to honestly help people in need,
Pattaya Mail has contacted the Tourist Police who have promised quick action
against the rouge German.
