Sucharit Pajchimnant (2nd left), the new Governor of Chonburi is welcomed by Chonburi VIP’s.

Sucharit Pajchimnant, the new Governor of Chonburi, was welcomed to his new position at a reception party, hosted by Sansak Ngarmphiches and Chatpong Chatphut, at the Grand Sole Hotel. All of Chonburi’s prominent citizens were in attendance.
In his acceptance speech, the new governor dedicated himself to the welfare of Chonburi Province. He stated that he would do his job to the best of his ability and see that all citizens of Chonburi were given equal attention from the governor’s office. He promised to make the province even more prosperous than it is now, and pay special attention to Pattaya, “as it is a tourist destination with much quality and potential”. He said he would do his utmost to make Pattaya a sports and recreation centre, and would cease at nothing to make it happen. Finally, he stated that he felt as if Chonburi was his home, as he has lived here before and loves it.
The atmosphere at the reception was lively and exciting. Everyone took turns at the microphone to sing a song to welcome the new governor. Sansak Ngarmphiches presented the governor with an image of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn the Great.
