Navy Captain Netr Channu, President of the Gerontology Association of the Abhkarakiert Naval Hospital, Sattahip, welcomed nurses from the Chantrubeksa Air Force Hospital, Nakorn Pathom Province. The Air Force nurses came to observe the work of the Gerontology Society in Sattahip.


In honour of his Majesty the King’s Golden Jubilee, the Navy released 950 sea turtles and 39,950 shellfish as part of the opening ceremony for the revival of the sea environment. Almost 2,000 private citizens, including students, merchants and people from all sectors of society, joined in the ceremony at Sattahip, conducted by Admiral Vinyan Santivisat. A demonstration of sea rescue techniques was also given at the ceremony.


Marion Le Baron and Ann-Sophie, students from the International School of the Regents, donated 150 kilos of rice to the Pattaya Orphanage for Father Brennan’s rice appeal.


Evelyne De Cuyper celebrated her farewell party with her students at the Horse Sports Centre. Lots of pizza and orange juice was consumed by the children and Bobi B, the horse.
