Members of Chonburi’s Red
Cross greet inmates at the Chonburi Women’s Prison before serving them a
free holiday lunch for Mother’s Day.
The Chonburi Red Cross helped prisoners at the
Chonburi Women’s Prison enjoy Mother’s Day as best they could by
providing the inmates a free holiday lunch.
Red Cross Vice-Chairwoman Sasithorn Preechawit led community residents
and members of the Interior Ministry Wives Club Aug. 7 for the National
Association of Mothers of Chonburi co-sponsored event.
Lunch was provided to female prisoners as well as local unemployed and
poor people.
The visit was part of a week of meals for the poor planned by the Red
Cross to commemorate HM the Queen’s Aug. 12 birthday. (CPRD)
