East Water Group leads tree planting in Khao Maikaew

Youngsters help Banglamung
District Chief Sakchai Taengho and staff of the East Water Group plant tree
saplings to mark Preservation and Development of Nationwide Rivers and Canals

Khao Maikaew residents and the East Water Group planted 1,000 tree saplings to
mark Preservation and Development of Nationwide Rivers and Canals Day.
Banglamung District Chief Sakchai Taengho presided over the July 3 “Landscape
Conservation, Water Protection” activity at the Phuthai Education Center
attended by officials from the regional Water Resources Office, secretary of the
Committee of the Eastern Water Basin, Chonburi Water Basin committee East Water
Group, residents and students.
The volunteers planted 1,000 copperpod, Garcinia cowa, pink Tacoma and
Lagerstroemia floribunda saplings on a five-rai plot to restore the environment
at the Phuthai water basin.
