Princess Pa Foundation sends relief bags to northern flood victims

Royal Thai Navy personnel
pack 2,000 bags of emergency rations to be distributed to flood victims
in Thailand’s south.

Royal Thai Navy personnel and volunteers packed 2,000 bags of
emergency rations to be distributed by the royal Princess Pa Foundation
for monks and flood victims in Thailand’s south.
The bags were packed at a hangar at U-Tapao Pattaya International
Airport July 9-11 by a delegation led by Princess Pa Foundation
President Somthawin Yangyoo. She was joined by 150 naval personnel and
members of the Navy Wives Club, Sattahip municipality, monks, novices,
Sattahip government officials and volunteers.
Yangyoo said HRH Princess Soamsawalee, who created the foundation after
major floods in 1995, had asked the Royal Navy to continue its recent
work to aid flooding victims.
The relief bags containing about 30 items including dried food, blankets
and medicine, will be delivered to Thaimuang, Phang-ngan.
