Three transvestites have been arrested for conspiring to drug and rob a
Russian man in Bang Saray.
Pimchanok Srikuldorn, a 27-year-old prostitute, was apprehended in Khon Kaen
Jan. 4, while two alleged accomplices, Tharakorn Roi-chang, 22, and Thonasorn
Kaha, 30, were taken into custody Jan. 5 by Sattahip police.
Pimchanok is accused of drugging and robbing 50-year-old Alexander Matusov after
the Russian picked up the ladyboy on Soi Chaiyapruek in Jomtien Beach and
brought him back to his Bang Saray house. Police claim the transvestite then
applied a sedative to his body to knock out the Russian, before stealing his
Toyota truck and the equivalent of about 2 million baht from a safe.
The other two transvestites were charged with abetting Pimchanok in the robbery
and escape after being paid 2,000 baht each.
Police said Pimchanok denied drugging Matusov, claiming the Russian passed out
from drinking too much. He also disputed the amount stolen, saying the safe
contained $1,500, not the claimed $50,000. The Russian claimed two land titles
and an ATM card were stolen, giving the thief access to 800,000 baht in his
Bangkok Bank account. The suspect said the safe contained only one land title.
Police said the cross-dressing suspect said he robbed the Russian to pay for new
breast implants.
