A 16-year-old was detained after allegedly threatening at knifepoint a Danish man who refused to buy one of his fake watches.

Lars Jensen, 50, said he was having a drink at a beer bar around 11 p.m. when the young watch seller and another man approached him to buy counterfeit brand-name timepieces.

The Dane, who said he has owned his own business for 25 years, declined in such a way that the vendors reacted angrily and pulled out a knife in retaliation. They then left without further incident and the foreigner went to the police.

Officers tracked down the seller with the knife and brought him to the station for questioning.
