Czech-Thai teenage model Kim Docekalova will represent Thailand at the Elite Model Look world final following her victory in Pattaya.
The 17-year-old, who last year appeared on the television show “The Face”, will join male model Phonlawat Boonrattanutmaitree in Milan for the November 28 final with contestants from about 30 countries.
Edward Kitti, Southeast Asia chairman of Elite Model Management Co., opened the Thai finals at Central Festival Pattaya Beach Nov. 5.
Elite Model Look is the biggest modeling contest of the world and is credited with “discovering” supermodels Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Adriana Lima.
Finish as runners-up to Docekalova were Ratanaporn Lhueang-an and Kamomlwan Yamploy.
The runners-up in the male contest were Athiwat Teechasaensawat and Kitsakorn Nongphomma.
Winners took home 100,000 baht in prize money while those finishing second earned 30,000 baht while third-place received 20,000 baht.
