An elderly Canadian man has been arrested on pedophilia charges for allegedly molesting a 13-year-old boy.
Eddy Walsh, 71, was captured at the Yensabai Mansion on South Road Soi 17 Nov. 22. Police seized several electronic gadgets, clothes and some DVDs from his apartment.
The arrest came following a complaint from the parents of the boy, who claimed Walsh abused the teen in his apartment and recorded a video of the assault.
Walsh, escorted by a representative from the Canadian embassy, denied the charges at Pattaya Police Station.
Investigators are following reports that Walsh is part of an underground pedophile gang.
