More than 200 children in Laem Chabang and Sriracha
benefitted recently when the Thai Oil Co., Ltd. presented their
annual scholarships to youth in the community. The scholarships worth
2,560,000 baht were presented by Thai Oil CEO Weerasak Khositphaisal.

To celebrate and honour HM the Queen on the auspicious
occasion of her 80th birthday this month, Chatchawal
Supachayanont (centre right), general manager of Dusit Thani Pattaya
led his management and staff to pay tribute to HM the Queen by signing the
book which was placed in the main lobby throughout August. Guests were also
invited to extend their good wishes by signing the book.

As part of their continuing CSR project for children in
the community, dentists from the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya set up a
mobile dental clinic at the Father Ray Foundation recently where children
were given dental check-ups and treatment.

Dr. Amporn Wathanavongs, the President / CEO of Foundation for
Rehabilitation & Development of Children and Family (FORDEC) recently
presided over the opening ceremony of the art exhibition titled “Imagine
from the beauty of nature” by Color’s Life group at the Amari Watergate
Bangkok, proceeds of which will be donated to support FORDEC. (L to R)

Former Minister of National Defence of the Republic of
Korea Kwon Young Hae (4th right) and Madame Kim Hyo Soon (3rd right) led an
official delegation from their country on a familiarization trip to Pattaya
as guests of the Permanent Secretary of the Thai Ministry of Defence
recently. They were welcomed to the Montien Hotel, Pattaya by Pakorn
Srisook Executive Assistant Manager (2nd right) and Kamron Jamsrisai (left).

a Green Choice (MAGC)” program. MAGC is part of Starwood’s sustainability
program, in order to reduce water consumption, energy usage and help keep
chemicals out of our environment. Michael said, “By declining housekeeping
services for just one night, together we can save almost 40 gallons of
water, enough electricity to run a laptop for 10 hours, 25,000 BTUs of
natural gas and 7 oz. of chemicals.”
