Nearly 100 area residents trained to become village
health volunteers in training sponsored by two local hospitals and the
Banglamung District Office.
Buppa Songsakulchai of the Pattaya Public Health
Department was the featured speaker at the July 17 training organized
with the help of Banglamung and Takientia hospitals.
The 97 health volunteers, the second squad trained by
the district, educate village residents on the need for preventative
health care and work to create healthy-living plans for neighbors.
The volunteers can also address issues such as poor
sanitation, help relieve the stress of villages and report both good and
bad news to the community.
