An honest baht bus driver saved the vacation of a French
tourist, turning into police a wallet containing the equivalent of 300,000
baht.
Bunyuen Nonthapan, 49, turned over the 8,000 euros and
laptop computer that were left in his taxi.
Daniel Andre Jolie, who’d left the items in the cab after
traveling from the Pattaya Bus Station to the Sawasdee Hotel in South
Pattaya, was delighted to get the money and computer returned and rewarded
Bunyuen with 500 euros, the equivalent of about 19,000 baht.
