Mind the holes

Editor;

I would like to thank the mayor for, after 4 years of visiting (high season), I find I still have to mind the holes, clean mud of my shoes and clothes and walk with great care on the still unfinished road from Pattaya to Jomtien. I feel that shinning star owners are too patient. What will I see in 2011, Mr Mayor?

Regards,
Ray Wallis

Closing times

Editor;

Having been to Pattaya for over the last 13 years, they not long ago had the bars closing at 02:00, then over the last 3 years they have gone back to closing whenever they wanted. I found that when they closed at 02:00 it was better for (me, but not for the tourists who just wanted to get wasted and spend the day in bed) as there was no noise from these bars when I was trying to sleep in hotels.

Personally I think this should return and would not affect tourism and would probably increase it as they would spend more money in the daytime on other activities which would share the money spent to other businesses.

Well good luck to the police and I hope they succeed in this venture, but please make it last all year round.
