Beauty-seeking transvestite partially blinded

Nopparat Amphanan points to where two ladyboys gave him silicone injections that left him blind in one eye.

A transvestite hoping silicone injections to the face would give him more womanly charm instead went blind in one eye after botched injections by the two ladyboys he hired to do the job.

Nopparat Amphanan, 23, told police he was approached by two “women of the second category” after finishing his shift at the Stringfellow’s go-go bar around 2:30 a.m. Known only as “Ae” and “Oh,” the pair offered inexpensive silicone injections for the cheeks and forehead.

Nopparat said he paid the duo 3,000 baht for the treatment, but woke up the next day nauseated and swollen. Soon after, he lost sight in one eye. An eye doctor then told him that the silicone had been injected into a vein, causing a blockage that cut off blood to the eye. The damage is permanent.

Despite having no real names to go on, the blinded transvestite asked police to pursue the two needle-wielding quacks.
