and robbed by two South Pattaya working women.

A Russian man who brought two prostitutes back to his five-star resort woke up alone with a headache and missing more than a million baht in possessions.

Valerii Gribunov, 46, complained to police Nov. 15 that two bargirls he picked up at Walking Street’s Siren Beer Bar complex the night before had drugged and robbed him. He said everything was fine until he drank a glass of water offered by one of the girls. He then felt dizzy and fell asleep.

When he awoke, the women were gone, as were the contents of his room safe, including a ruby ring, gold watch and diamond bracelet.

Police said the identification cards the women presented at the resort were fake, but that they would inspect security camera footage in hopes of tracking down the two.
