The Zoom-Out electronic music festival will take
place at Bali Hai pier in Pattaya on November 26 & 27. Over 70 top DJs will
be performing on 5 separate stages with different styles of music at each

The International School Eastern Seaboard is
holding its family fun day on November 28 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at its site,
which is located within Burapha Golf Club. The day will involve a range of

The Lighthouse Club Pattaya is holding a “Movers
& Shakers 2010” charity networking evening on Friday, December 3 at the
Centara Grand Mirage Pattaya - an event jointly-promoted with the
British Chamber of Commerce and AustCham. Beginning at 6 p.m. with a welcome
reception and live music entertainment, the evening will progress with a
ballroom party and food plus an exciting fashion show, more networking and
tunes into the wee hours. A full bar will be available with Carlsberg Beer

Clubs and Associations
The next meeting of Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC)
will be on Sunday, November 28. Everyone is warmly welcome. The speaker will
be fellow member Jim Jones who will recount his experiences, some harrowing,
in “Jumping out of Airplanes.” The Club meets every Sunday morning at the
Tavern by the Sea Restaurant located on the north end of Beach Road (part of
the Amari Orchid Resort). The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a
buffet breakfast available from 9 to 11 a.m. Each week the PCEC usually has
an interesting speaker to talk on various subjects of interest in an
informal setting. The program is followed by the ever lively and often
humorous Open Forum where questions are asked and answers given about living
in Pattaya as well as an update on events in and around Pattaya. A full

For the past 28 years the Samaritans of Thailand
have been providing confidential crisis intervention services over the
telephone. The English-speaking unit, Samaritans English Help Line operates
24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support to the expatriate
community. English-speaking staff, trained in crisis intervention will
provide active, non-judgmental and empathetic listening services on the
phone. All calls will be handled on an anonymous basis and are free of

The Rotary Club Pattaya Marina meets every Friday
