These past few months have seen some terrible times
in Thailand, the worst of which are the floods that have devastated
people’s lives all over the country.
People from all walks of life have shown extreme
kindness and generosity by donating money and goods to help alleviate
some of the suffering of those unfortunate people who are affected by
the natural disasters.
Throughout this week, Makro Pattaya Branch, located
on Sukhumvit Road near Pattaya Underwater World, in cooperation with
Rotary Clubs in District 3340 have given residents an opportunity to
donate cash, personal essentials, dry and imperishable foods and
medicines to help the victims of the natural disasters throughout the
country.
A collection area is set up at the Makro store
whereby customers and visitors can place their cash donations and
essential goods. Makro is open from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m.
Today is the last day for you to make your donation,
as tomorrow, November 13, a team of senior Rotarians will receive the
goods for direct distribution to those in need.
