Dusit Thani Pattaya, led by General Manager Chatchawal Supachayanont (center), paid a visit to Jittapawan Temple off Naklua Road to donate cash and necessities. This monthly gesture is part of the hotel’s program to serve the community.


 

Management of the Amari Watergate Hotel, led by General Manager Pierre Andre Pelletier, recently welcomed a first group arrival of Kenya Air crews led by Capt. Njoroge K. Murimi, Chairman of Kenya Airline Pilots Association. Kenya Airways have signed a 2-year contract to stay at the Amari Watergate Hotel. Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa, led by General Manager Somsak Tanruengsri (far right), took part in global efforts to save the environment when it turned off the lights for Earth Hour on March 28, 2009. Participating hotel guests were given food and spa discounts.


The Rolling Stone Bar at the end of Walking Street recently hosted its 3rd annual thank you party. Children from the Camillian Center in Rayong were invited for some food, drinks and a sing-a-long. 30,000 baht was also raised on the day.

After 16 years, the Nova Lodge Hotel has changed its name to Centara Beach Hotel. The management, led by CEO Rony Fineman (front), and staff recently held a farewell party. The Nova Group will soon open its Nova Jungle Hotel & Nova Platinum Hotel in Pattaya.


The Muscle Boys: Ingvar, Robert and Jan, receive their certificates of appreciation from the Jesters Care for Kids charity drive. Ingvar, owner of Alingsas Halsostudio, and Jan are perennial Bronze Sponsors for the Jesters Care for Kids. Robert (and Erik from the Scandinavian Bar and Restaurant), are the indefatigable pushbike riders, who have raised over 3 million baht for Jesters over the last 8 years.
