The Pattaya Grand Sale gets underway again in July, offering
discounts on shopping and accommodations throughout the city.
Heads of regional business, tourism, sports and hotel associations
announced the low-season campaign at the Long Beach Garden hotel April
29. The sale runs July 15-Sept. 30.
Supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Chonburi provincial
government, the Pattaya Grand Sale has become the city’s principal
tourism-promotion effort during the low season, aimed mostly at domestic
Thai travelers.
More than 70 hotels will participate in this year’s sale, along with
members of the Pattaya Restaurant Club, tourist attractions such as the
Khao Kheow Open Zoo and Tiffany Show; and area golf courses.
The Pattaya Grand Sale offers savings of up to 60 percent on hotels
room, 50 percent at golf courses, tourist attractions and 20 percent at
