Children everywhere as Eastern Seaboard celebrates Children’s Day

Youngsters perform the latest dance style with their friends, the dancing sea animals, at Royal Garden Plaza. Saturday, January 12 was once again one of their favorite days of the year - Children’s Day, and from navy ships to city halls, airports to shopping malls, children were everywhere as the Eastern Seaboard celebrated Thailand’s annual festival for little ones.

Jet-ski anti-scam committee approves stronger mandatory-insurance system

The committee tasked with resolving Pattaya’s long-running jet ski scandal has approved a revised insurance scam that would force watercraft vendors to carry policies covering a minimum 50,000 baht for damage, death and total disability.

City and police agencies plan to sweep Pattaya’s streets for homeless people twice a month, placing repeat offenders into shelters or deporting them.

Diving with the giant whale shark

There are over 41 islands in the Chumphon Sea; however, only 7-8 islands have popular and beautiful diving spots, especially Ngam Islands. The undersea world around the Koh Ngam Noi and Koh Ngam Yai is full of huge brain coral, staghorn coral and colorful sea anemones dancing along the rhythm of the stream.  Continued
