Politicians sporting high fashion and musical performances will
highlight a Banglamung Red Cross fundraiser scheduled for January 15.
Red Cross President Nuanchan Saeng-Uthai finalized details of the event
at The Zign Hotel at a Jan. 4 meeting. The event will be her last as
head of the Banglamung unit before she moves to Chonburi where her
husband, District Chief Chawalit Saeng-Uthai, is set to become permanent
secretary.
Proceeds from the event will be added to the Red Cross unit’s reserve
fund to aid the needy during disasters, as well as fund public-relations
trips by administrators.
Beginning at 5 p.m. at The Zign Hotel, Pattaya, the event will feature a
fashion show with local politicians acting as models, along with
singing.
The Red Cross will also hold charity fund raising events on Children’s
Day, Saturday, Jan. 12 beginning at 9 a.m. at Banglamung City Hall.
Children’s games and handing out gifts will be the highlight of the
Children’s Day activities.
