Dr. Suchada Mongkolchaiphak, director of the Center for Treatment of Infertility at Phyathai Sriracha Hospital, welcomed a group of embryologists from many ASEAN countries on their educational tour of the hospital, which is one of Asia’s most modern medical facilities.


Skål International Bangkok, part of the travel and tourism industry networking organisation which has 19,000 members worldwide, met at the Dusit Thani hotel in Bangkok recently to discuss aviation issues in Thailand. Guest speakers were two Bangkok-based airline industry experts: Sharuka Wickrama-Adittaya (left), GM of Sri Lankan Airlines and Joe Rajadurai (right), GM at Qatar Airways. Pol. Col Chaiyot Varakjunkiat (4th right), superintendent of Chonburi Immigration office along with Saran Tantijumnan (3rd left), director of Central Department Stores Region 3, together with members of the Thai Red Cross pledged their support for the CPN blood bank for the benefit of the community at a ceremony held at the Central Festival Pattaya Beach recently.


Rev. Pattarapong Srivorakul, chairman of the Father Ray Foundation, Udomchoke Choorat, director of the Redemptorist School and Supachai Sathirasilapin, director of the Redemptorist Children’s Home, jointly presided over the grand opening of the ‘CH Co-Op’ store located at the Redemptorist Children’s Home Pattaya. The new store will give the children an opportunity to learn about the retail business and how to operate a coffee shop. The shop stocks consumer goods and handmade products.


Representatives of the Centara Pattaya Hotel sales & public relations executives Banthita Sunthararak (3rd right) and Napasorn Srikeow (2nd right), paid a courtesy call to the new Pattaya Mail offices to congratulate us on our move and to extend New Year greetings to our staff and management. On hand to receive them were Peter, Prince and Tony Malhotra along with Korn Kitcha-Amon (right).


To celebrate the festive season Yutthachai Charanachitta (centre), president & CEO of Amari Estates Co., Ltd., together with Pierre Andre Pelletier (3rd left), general manager of Amari Watergate Bangkok, hosted a lunch and presented gifts to orphans living at the Thai Red Cross Children’s Home during the Christmas and New Year holidays. They were joined by hotel management at the festivities.
