Pattaya officials and the Provincial Electrical Authority are
continuing efforts to clean up the city’s messy utility wires, setting
their sights next on Thepprasit Soi 8.
City Councilman Banlue Kullavanijaya met with Narong Theerakamchai,
assistant manager at the PEA, Oct. 3, along with representatives of
telephone and cable-television companies.
Narong reviewed past and current work on utility poles throughout
Pattaya, again reminding telephone and cable TV operators to check and
label active lines. Any unmarked cables will be removed by the electric
company.
On Thepprasit Soi 8, the PEA hired a contractor to clear shabby cables
and further work will be carried out nearby.
