It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our good friend Len Agar, who passed away in the early hours of Saturday 6/10/2012. Len had fought a long-standing battle with a congestive heart condition to which he finally succumbed peacefully in his sleep on Saturday morning.

Len had been resident of Thailand for over 20 years, following a distinguished engineering career with ICI UK. He was such a kind-hearted man who had innumerable friends of all nationalities, and was always there for people who found themselves in difficulty or needed his wise counsel to sort problems out. He will be sadly missed by regulars at the Jomtien Shenanigans quiz where he was an invaluable member of ‘The Tinkers’ team, putting his years of knowledge and experience to great use.

A regular face around the Jomtien Beach Condominium complex where he lived for many years, he will also be greatly missed by all those whose lives had been touched by this good man.

Special condolences go out to all members of Len’s family both in the UK and here in Thailand.
