SONGKHLA, Thailand – Thailand is reinforcing its position as a growing hub for the global halal industry through World HAPEX 2026, the World Halal Products Exhibition, an international halal exhibition and conference that will take place from 30 July to 2 August 2026 at Prince of Songkla University in Songkhla Province. The event will bring together researchers, businesses, investors, and halal experts to promote innovation, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration across the halal sector.
Organized by the Halal Institute of Prince of Songkla University under the theme “Halal Wellness and Innovation,” this 15th edition of World HAPEX is expected to attract more than 20,000 participants from 12 countries. The program will feature 224 exhibition booths, an international academic conference, business matching sessions, investment discussions, and networking activities.
The initiative aims to strengthen Thailand’s halal ecosystem by connecting research with industry, supporting Thai halal entrepreneurs, and expanding international trade opportunities. It also reflects Thailand’s ambition to become a regional center for halal products, services, and innovation, while contributing to sustainable economic growth, particularly in southern Thailand. Backed by internationally recognized halal certification, strong research capabilities, and a well-established food manufacturing industry, Thailand continues to enhance its competitiveness in the rapidly growing global halal market and position itself as a trusted destination for halal products, services, and innovation.
