Thai Vietjet Air celebrates launch of airline’s first Bangkok-Fukuoka direct flights

TAT and Fukuoka Prefectural Council mark Thai Vietjet Air’s new Bangkok-Fukuoka service
From 15 July, 2022, the service operates three times a week on a Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Thai Vietjet Air recently welcomed visiting executives from Fukuoka Prefectural Council, Japan, to Bangkok to celebrate the launch of the airline’s first Bangkok-Fukuoka direct flights.

The visiting Fukuoka Prefectural Council executive team was in Thailand from 23-27 July, 2022, at the invitation of Thai Vietjet Air and with the assistance of the TAT Fukuoka Office to acknowledge the airline’s resumption of flights to Thailand after the kingdom’s reopening to international tourism.



Thai Vietjet Air operates on the Bangkok-Fukuoka service three times a week on a Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday starting from 15 July, 2022.

At the dinner reception on 25 July, 2022, were Mr. Tanes Petsuwan, TAT Deputy Governor for International Marketing – Asia and South Pacific; Mr. Chuwit Sirivejkul, TAT Regional Director of East Asia Marketing, and an executive team from Thai Vietjet Air.



Executives from the Japanese-Thai Friendship Federation, Fukuoka Prefectural Council, were Mr. Genki Nieda, Chairman; Mr. Hirotaka Inoue, Vice-Chairman; Mr. Makoto Sasaki, Secretary; Mr. Toshio Yoshimura, Advisor, and the council team. They are scheduled to pay an official visit to Thailand in October 2022, for an exchange and collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Council. (NNT)
