MADINAH, Saudi Arabia – Thai pilgrims have visited the Al-Nabawi Mosque in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, to perform religious rites, including prayers and supplications at the Rawdah, an area Muslims regard as a garden of paradise. The group also paid respects at the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad, one of the most revered sites in Islam.
Traveling together, the pilgrims carried out their observances in an organized manner. Before entering the Rawdah, their group leader provided guidance on the site’s religious importance and reminded them to follow regulations. The group then proceeded in an orderly line under established procedures.
A pilgrim from Pattani province described the visit to the Rawdah as a deeply meaningful experience and a long-held personal goal. He said the visit would encourage him to stay disciplined in his religious practices.
The pilgrims will remain in Madinah to continue their religious activities and visit historical sites before traveling to Makkah for the next stage of the Hajj pilgrimage. (NNT)
