BANGKOK, Thailand – Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana has received the honorary title of Siri Sinlapin (The Artist of Auspicious Grace) in the visual arts for 2024 during a ceremony held by the Ministry of Culture at the Thailand Cultural Center. Culture Minister Sabeeda Thaised assigned Saratsanun Unnopporn, secretary to the minister, to preside over the exhibition opening ceremony. Yuthika Isarangkura, director-general of the Department of Cultural Promotion, joined national artists, government officials, and guests at the event.
The ceremony also recognized 10 artists as the 2024 National Artists in the fields of visual arts, literature, and performing arts. The exhibition presents the works and achievements of national artists while encouraging the public to learn more about Thailand’s artistic and cultural heritage. The exhibition runs through July 31 at the Thailand Cultural Center, featuring artworks, cultural performances, screenings, and other activities showcasing the achievements of Siri Sinlapin, national artists, and the 2024 National Artists. The public is invited to visit the exhibition to celebrate Her Royal Highness’ achievement and explore its wide range of displays, activities, and learning experiences. (NNT)
